It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. Mark Twain
RFK jr. has his confirmation hearing scheduled. Hurray!! They need to confirm him fast so he can get to work. And maybe by the time this is posted they will have confirmed him.
My hubby got home from the hospital a couple of days ago and seemed to be doing pretty well, until yesterday. Since his homecoming, however, he’s had to sleep in his easy chair due to some mysterious, unrelenting pain in his shoulder when he lays flat in the bed. The excruciating pain in is shoulder manifested during a procedure to drain excess fluid from his lungs.
One night, while sleeping in his chair, his home heart monitor machine sent an electronic signal to his heart doctors electronic receiver machine. It had recorded that something wasn’t right with his heart. Hubby has had a pacemaker since his bout with sepsis. The doctors office called early in the day and wanted to see him regarding the blip in the machine. So, we finished our breakfast, packed him into the car and headed the 30 miles into town.
As an aside; our county road commission out here in the boondocks know how to keep our roads cleared in winter. These guys deserve much more pay than they get for sure. Thank you road crew! However, this winter season there has been a change. Maybe they budgeted for too much for road salt and we didn’t get the snow and ice in our county that was predicted. Use it or lose it. But whatever the reason, the roads have a horrible excess of sodium chloride giving the pavement a sickly gray-white pallor. But I digress.
Even with all the salt on the road it wasn’t a bad drive, the sun was bright with ribbons of warmth penetrating the windshield. As the usual course of our winter, cold winds blow across the warm waters of Lake Superior. Upper Michigan can experience three months of depressing cloud cover, making sunshine a premium this time of year. Whenever there is a high pressure system bypassing this upper parcel of Michigan, the jet stream moves those clouds into Wisconsin up lifting the spirits of every living thing around us. Even the little critters come out of hiding to raid the bird feeder with the warmth of the sun.
There was little traffic on the main road going into town at this hour so the road salt was manageable. When we left the doctors office after a few tweaks and instructions in his care routine and headed back out of town the street had become busy with traffic but the salt on the road still wasn’t too bad. It was not until we made the turn and headed out on the main state road that the salty road conditions got bad, real bad.
Huge clouds of salt dust quickly blocked the view when a fully loaded log truck went whizzing passed, smaller plumes of salt dust from cars heading towards town too. Then I made the mistake of looking up. To my disappointment, there was an usually thick, formed, white cloudy material of chemtrails hanging low and spreading across the sky. Shiny winged beasts spewing these massive chemical clouds unusually close to the earth for all to witness. It wasn’t long before the warmth of our moment of sunshine was obliterated. We grabbed some napkins from the glove box and covered our noses. The napkins helped a little.
Hubby originally developed stress related heart disease during the reign of chaos and terror from his first marriage. I’ll be nice to her and just leave that there. More stress was piled on his nervous system by being a union steward at his place of employment, plus being the lucky recipient of a blast in the face of a malfunctioning chlorine gas tank while on the clock. Add to the convenience of modern society; for 25+ years he took his lunch to work in plastic and heated it in a microwave. Microwaves were all the rage and plastic was what we were told to use. All in all, heating his food in plastic ended up killing his gallbladder, at least in part, hence his sepsis.
The emergency room surgeon in 2018 thought that it was just another gallbladder removal until he tried to grab the blob of jelly, loaded with thousands of gall stones, with is surgical tools. Toxins cravenly escaped from the sick gallbladder and cursed throughout his body. Once the toxins were no longer contained there was no stopping them. It took 11 days in a chemically induced coma and tons of antibiotics until they could bring that evil sepsis under control. Yes, modern medicine saved his life, that time. Last year he was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. Chemo medicine further destroyed his heart and lungs.
Of course, he is not totally without fault here. He had some bad habits before I came along. He frequented fast foods places and drank lots of diet Pepsi. I put a stop to his bad eating habits, or so I thought. When I was away, or he was in town unsupervised, he would sneak off to KFC and eat greasy chicken. It was when I had been away that I arrived home to find him in bed with a case of food poisoning from eating half cooked KFC chicken. To further establish my position and lecture him on eating that seductive convenience crap, I reiterated a true tale of working at a chicken fast food place in my younger days. The restaurant would take delivery of boxes of raw chicken pieces marinating in disgustingly, smelly, green slime, I told him. The chicken pieces were rinsed, battered, deep fried and served with Cajun rice. That story didn’t help his stomach as he ran off to the bathroom.
I had just received my holistic nutritional degree in 2000 when Fast Food Nation was published in 2002 and man oh man did it clinch it for me. I had been told repeatedly by family that I was wasting my money on such stupid education. The whole time I was in school I carried those discouraging voices in the back of my head, but I am not one who likes to waste money, so I continued until I graduated. I was right to keep going!
I started my Masters but ended up dropping out to take care of my parents. I did, however, continue researching long lived societies and their herbal remedies. I discovered a few cultures who either chase down their food and killed their dinner or picked it fresh off trees and bushes from the back yard and surrounding area. I was amazed to find very rarely do you find the diseases that plague western countries in these less affluent nations. Look up “Blue Zones” for yourself. But again, I digress.
RFK jr. is going to be up against some powerful mega money if he gets this position. Western nations have been propagandized into a convenient life at a terrible cost to our bodies and our childrens bodies. I was talking to a young woman a few years ago and schooling her on the dangers of excessive cell phone use. I used a study I had recently encountered of Russians scientists turning on a cell phone and taping a raw egg to it. They left it there for some time, 24 or 48 hours if I remember correctly. When they came back to check on the experiment they found the egg had cooked due to the radiation the cell phone was emitting. Remember Ted Kennedy and his brain cancer, I said? She was as serious as cancer when she looked me in the eye and said, “Oh, I don’t believe that. They wouldn’t make it if it was bad for us.” This young woman has an autistic child, one who is a slow learner and one who is on ADHD meds or she was.

As crazy as it may sound, there are many people who still trust Fauci and big pharma, Bill Gates, the FDA and even the Rockefeller foundation etc. Until next time. . .
